Questions & Answers

What Should I Wear?

For our Welcome Party, we’d love you to join us in Coastal Cocktail attire. Our Wedding Day will be Black Tie. For Farewell Breakfast, we suggest Brunch Best: breezy dresses, linen separates, and relaxed pieces styled with a little polish.

Can I Bring a Plus One?

We’d love to celebrate with everyone, but we’re only able to welcome the guests named on your invitation. If your invitation includes a plus one, we look forward to meeting them! Otherwise, we’re unable to accommodate an additional guest. We appreciate your understanding and can’t wait to celebrate with you.

Can We Bring Our Kids?

Our wedding will be an adults-only celebration, so we won’t be able to accommodate children. We know this may mean extra planning for families, especially when traveling, and we completely understand if it makes attending difficult. We’re grateful for the effort it takes to join us.

What About Dietary Requirements?

We want you to feel comfortable and well cared for while celebrating with us. Please include any allergies or dietary requirements in your RSVP, along with the name of the guest they apply to, so we can plan with our catering team. Menu selections will be collected when available; please share dietary requirements now. If you’d like to talk through your needs, please Email Olivia.

Will the Dinner Be Outside?

We’ll enjoy the cocktail reception outdoors after the ceremony if the weather allows, then move inside for dinner.

Where Should I Stay?

You’ll find our recommended hotels in Estoril and Lisbon on the Travel & Stay page.

Can I Take an Uber When I Arrive at Lisbon Airport?

Yes! Download the Uber app before your trip, then request a ride once you’ve collected your luggage. You can check the fare and choose a car with enough room for your group and bags.

The pickup area is at P2, Level 2, on the arrivals level, separate from the taxi rank. Pickup arrangements may change before September 2027. Follow current airport signs and the app’s directions to your driver.

How Will I Get Around?

In Lisbon, the metro, buses and trams make it easy to explore, and Uber and Bolt are widely available. Around the centres and beaches of Cascais and Estoril, walking is a lovely option; use local buses, taxis or a ride app for longer journeys.

For trips between Lisbon and Cascais, the scenic train from Cais do Sodré takes about 40 minutes.

When Should I RSVP?

Please send us your RSVP by June 9, 2027, so we can make plans for everyone joining us. Let us know attendance for all three events, separately for each invited adult, along with any dietary requirements. We’d also love to hear which song will get you on the dance floor!

Do I Need a Visa or Travel Authorization?

Travel requirements depend on your passport and may change before September 2027, so please check the official Portuguese and EU guidance for your nationality before making arrangements. This includes passport validity, visas, and any travel authorization. We’ve also put together Travel Essentials to help you get started with your planning.
